Foreal Spectrum, Inc. was founded in 2003. Foreal has continuously advanced and refined optics technologies for laser, medical, life science, and micro-display projection applications, offering complete design solutions and rapid R&D prototyping, as well as high-volume manufacturing with consistent performance and proven reliability.

Foreal is committed to advancing coating technologies and services for the laser, life science, and medical industries through its proprietary Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) process. We routinely produce complex optical coatings to meet custom specifications.

Foreal specializes in high-performance polarization management coatings for the micro-display industry, including polarization beam splitters, X-cubes, optical cores, and polarization-insensitive coatings.

Foreal’s Chinese subsidiary operates a world-class manufacturing facility supporting multiple product lines, including LCoS display optics, optical filters, and high-power laser optics. The subsidiary features vertically integrated capabilities spanning component grinding, polishing, cleaning, coating, bonding, mounting, and assembly of opto-electronic and opto-mechanical modules and systems. The facility is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards, and all products are RoHS compliant (2002/95/EC).
